Slipway House is a 2 minute walk from the Dart Marina and ‘next door’ to the Royal Dart Yacht Club. So whether you have your own boat and want somewhere shore-based to stay, or you just want to ‘boat and yacht watch’, then Slipway House is ideally situated.
If you have children who want to learn to sail, there are sailing clubs in Dittisham and Dartmouth. The Yacht Club also puts on sailing events you can take part in, along with dinghies for hire and sailing courses.
The Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta is a yachting spectacular in August every year, and Slipway House is in the best location to view all the comings and goings and events.
